What You Eat, Genetically Modified Foods, and Yoga Postures

Yoga Postures are incredibly important as they don't just put the body into the best shape of your life, they cleanse the organs of the body. This is basic detoxing, and you may have experienced it.

A good yoga routine and you might feel nervous energy, you might experience a quivering sensation through your body, you might feel soreness and even slightly ill. This is the toxins going out. of the body. They sometimes don't go out without a fight.

Mind you, if you feel very ill, you may have overdone your yoga. This is easy to do the first few workouts. You feel the health turn on, it is a fantastic feeling, and you want more and more and... the toxins are 'shaken loose' too much at once, and the body can't handle the effects.

Now, what are we detoxing? We are getting rid of pesticides, chemicals, and synthetic additives. Remember, you body is built to digest natural, not synthetic, so you should gear your eating habits to organic. We all know this.

What many people don't know is the effects of GM. GM is Genetically Modified foods. Simply, scientists don't want to take the time to create new and better types of foods through nature, so they splice in genes from other foods.

Splicing in genes doesn't always work, and, in fact, can be incredibly dangerous.

There is nothing very harmful about eating seedless watermelons, right? They don't taste as good, and you can't plant the seeds and make your own watermelons, but they don't really harm you, right?

In India farmers let sheep eat the remains of cotton plants, and 10,000 sheep died. That's 10 with three zeros. That's harmful.

Of course, that was only cotton. Scientists wouldn't do GM to the normal foods you eat, right?

Uh, well, to tell the truth, GM corn has been given to mice, and the mice became increasingly infertile. Of course the mice didn't notice, they just became fewer. And scrawnier and weaker and... less resistant to disease and... and corn is a staple, and not just corn has been Genetically Modified. Probably up to 90% of the foods at your grocery stores have been modified. That's a lot of potential damage to the human structure.

The point of this article is to scare you. Find food that is natural. Gather seeds that are natural and will reproduce and in abundance. Grow your own crops if possible.

Look, there is only so much that a yoga posture can do. Yoga practice will detox you, but detoxing GM foods is a different game. It may not be possible. Life consists of two actions... input and output. You input food, and you output it, and part of the output process, part of staying healthy, is outputting toxins through yoga practice. doing the postures until the organs give up their poisons.
